ABOUT CHLOE GREENBERG

I am a textile designer creating prints and patterns geared towards the fashion and home decor industries.

I have done short courses at Central Saint Martins, Milan Fashion Campus and online courses at Textile Design Lab and Longina Philips Designs. I have 6 years of experience working in the apparel, food and travel industries as a graphic and web designer freelancing and in-house.

What I enjoy most is creating vibrant textile prints and patterns from hand-drawn, painted and photographic images. Bringing colours into every day life is what fulfills me as a designer.

PROCESS

I create illustrations by using watercolours, pens, or using a tablet and turn my graphics into digital designs using Ai and/or Ps. I enjoy creating prints and repeats with different colourways and coordinates. I am comfortable with colour separation, indexing and creating pattern repeats.

Teaching
Teaching
One of my passions is helping people overcome their fear of painting. In two hours I have taught classes of 40 adults, with no previous painting experience, how to complete an acrylic painting.
Photography
Photography
I enjoy challenging myself with photography as a hobby. Types of photography I like to try are product, landscape and portrait.
Drawing
Drawing
Drawing has been a part of me since the day I could hold a pencil, but in 2013, when I pursued my (at the time) dream to study fashion illustration in Milan, I realized the possibilities through textile design and my interest in continuing to work in the apparel and home decor industries grew tremendously. Traditional mediums I enjoy working with are watercolour, acrylic, pen and pencil.
